Love Compatibility Test: How Face Reading Compares Two People
A love compatibility test is a fun way to start a conversation about how two people fit together. Face reading does it differently from birthday-based tests: it puts two faces side by side and reads how they interlock. This guide explains what is compared, how to take the score, and how to try it yourself. It presents a cultural tradition and is not a basis for relationship decisions.

What a face-based love compatibility test compares
The tradition first reads each face on its own, then looks at how the two meet.
- Balance of the three zones: whether the proportions of forehead, midface and chin resemble each other, or whether one person's weaker zone is supported by the other's.
- Harmony of the five features: whether the size and shape of eyes, nose and mouth clash or complete each other. A sharp gaze beside a soft one can be read either way.
- The spouse palace: the area at the outer corner of the eye, which tradition ties to partners and affection. Both people's spots are looked at together.
- Direction of temperament: a driven face next to a cautious one may balance or rub, and the reading says which.
The criteria shift with the relationship. Dating leans on attraction and conversation; marriage leans on daily life and shared values. If you are thinking about marriage, run it again with the marriage relationship type.
How to try it
- Each person takes a front-facing photo in bright daylight; the same conditions make the comparison fairer.
- Keep hair off the forehead and brows, and remove glasses and masks.
- Open the compatibility reading, choose dating as the relationship type and add both photos.
- Read the score, the verdict and the one-line summary, and note both the strengths and the friction points.
- If the photo is of someone else, ask for their consent first.
How to read the score
The score is not a measure of anyone's worth. It shows how well two faces interlock inside a traditional framework. A low score is not a reason to break up; read it as a hint about where differences need patience. A high score does not promise an easy relationship either. The most useful way to use a love compatibility test is as a topic for conversation, not as a verdict.
What face compatibility cannot do
- It cannot tell you what either person is really like or feeling.
- It cannot predict whether a relationship will last or end in marriage.
- It must not be used to judge or discriminate against anyone.
- Angle, expression and lighting can change the result.
Real relationships are built from talking, trust and daily habits. Keep the result in the entertainment-and-reflection box.
How Mienlore handles it
Mienlore analyzes photos inside your browser, so nothing is uploaded. Pair scores, verdicts and one-line summaries are free with no sign-up and no watermark; a detailed report is a paid extra. You can add up to sixteen people and compare every pair in a ranking. The app is available in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese, and the links on this page open the English version.
Love compatibility test: common questions
Do both people need to be present?
No. Each person only needs a front-facing photo, but please ask before using someone else's picture.
Should a low score end a relationship?
No. The score is a reference based on a traditional reading and does not decide how a relationship turns out.
Where are the photos stored?
Analysis happens in your browser; photos are not uploaded or stored.
